Scout And Guide Graduate Association

Welcome to North West SAGGA's homepage

Group Rep: Sue MacLean

North West SAGGA is a widespread group in area; striding the Pennines from Ilkley in the north to Stoke-on–Trent in the south. We also include a wide age range from babies to pensioners.

We try to organize activities for people with different interests and levels of fitness. We have members who are active leaders and those who do our best to support them. We enjoy social events and eating together, when we each bring a plate, so no-one does all the cooking. Past social events have included a Rock ‘n’ Roll Pantomimes, Pancake Parties, Birthday Parties and Museums in Stoke.

We plan walks along distance trails with long and easy routes according to who is joining us to working up an appetite for our evening meal together.

We usually organize a weekend service camp at a local Scout or Guide Camp, which is a good opportunity for members from other areas to join us.
