
Summer Camp 2010
Girlguiding UK Centenary Camp
30th July - 10th August 2010, Bramhope Scout Campsite

The annual SAGGA Summer Camp this year will be held at Bramhope Scout Campsite and will be supporting the Girlguiding UK Centenary Camp, which is taking place at Harewood House.
We are looking for people to help run the base camp (cook patrols, childcare etc); to work directly with the girls as part of the activities described below; and to help with the camp take-down. SAGGA campers can attend for any part of the camp but must have a SAGGA or SSAGO CRB. Indoor accommodation will be available for those who need it.
Draft Programme
- 29 – 31st July – set up base camp, small working party to attend Centenary Camp briefings on Friday, internal risk assessments and last minute preparation at Bramhope
- Sunday 1st August – Team to run activities as part of the “Best of British” day at Harewood House
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday – Run “It’s a Knockout” activity programme at Bramhope. 500 participants attend for half a day at a time.
- Wednesday – day off (individuals can book tickets to attend the Fusion event if they want to)
- Friday – Run Heritage activities at Bramhope
- Saturday – Tuesday – help to break camp at Harewood
