The Fifties
By 1958 SAGGA had four area groups and its first chairman. It had been formed by former members of University Scout and Guide clubs, who had enjoyed working together at Inter-Varsity Rallies. It aimed to support the Movements, whilst also challenging them to better meet the needs of their young people.
