The Sixties
Former Inter-Varsity Students came together to run three groundbreaking events: SAGA '61, the first joint Scout and Guide camp, was followed by SAGA '65, which took the project to Norway. SAGA '68, at Chatsworth, was a model for later locally organised International Jamborees like PEAK. Meanwhile, SAGGA members were actively involved in Leadership training, introducing modern youth-work methods and promoting co-educational activities.
